The collection is a sophisticated continuation of Emma Elizabeth’s practice of reinterpreting physical imagery into soft, woven forms. Aurora Terra reflects the grand scale of the world's largest opal with sweeping fields of deep blue and emerald green, and Aqua Lumina evokes a serene, water-like fluidity with ripples of soft blues and gentle greens.
"This collection is inspired by the iridescent beauty and mystery of Australian opals. I was drawn to their duality, the way they hold millions of years of history but reveal something fleeting each time light hits their surface," says Emma Elizabeth. "It’s about translating that tension between solidity and luminosity into a soft, woven form. Of which has been a direction present in many of my past collections."
