Our creative designers are the talent behind our many designs and collaborations, and form the foundation for the success of Designer Rugs. Their collection CAROUSEL comprising of 12 unique designs is a reflection of their decades of experience creating custom rugs, and desire to create innovative new designs. It is also the first in-house handknot collection launched by Designer Rugs.
Whilst our gifted designers had a focused inspiration for each design, the final collection works together in harmony creating a carnival of colour, texture and pattern, in luxury handknot quality.
LEXINGTON is a beautifully layered design, created with simple mark making with felt tip and marker pens. The end result is reminiscent of a field of berries.

Christine McDonald, Lia Pielli and Chloe Boudib develop our highly successful In House Collections - a reflection of their decades of experience creating custom rugs, and desire to create innovative new designs.
“As custom-made specialists, we are lucky to have first-hand experience with what is happening in the market in terms of colour and design,” says senior designer Lia Pielli. “Because we work across both residential and commercial projects with long lead times, we always have our finger on the pulse of interiors trends.”
Seeing how designs are interpreted and changed to suit different homes is a fascinating part of the design process for the Designer Rugs team.
Their In House Collections act as a ‘jumping off point’ for customers to get creative, and it’s rewarding for the team to see the unique, beautiful and sometimes surprising rugs springing from their initial ideas.
