Designer Profile: Dinosaur Designs

Having started Dinosaur Designs 28 years ago, designers, creative directors and co-founders Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy have forged an important place in Australian design history.

While taking their design ethos in to new areas and materials, the designers take pride in creating hand made resin and sterling silver jewellery and resin homewares from their Sydney studio.  

Louise and Stephen have collaborated with international designers such as Louis Vuitton and Paul Smith and have had work exhibited at London’s Victoria and Albert museum. Pieces have featured in Carolina Herrera runway shows and have been worn by Kate Winslett, Rachel Weiss, Elle Macpherson, Hillary Swank, Chloe Sevigny, Anna Piaggi, and Alicia Keys.

Dinosaur Designs have stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and New York as well as an online store.
